Miss You by The Rolling Stones

Oh boy, where does one start to characterize the almighty Stones? They redefined rebellion in music and were not the kind of guys you would hang around to gather healthy morals by osmosis. Drug busts, constant band infighting and a guitarist that like I said in an earlier post, was dead by 1981. I’m guessing Keith Richards doesn’t eat many salads with his dinner because well, he’s dead. How in the hell the guy still stands upright is more scientifically unanswerable than if there’s life on the other planets. Anyway, these guys hit their stride in the late ’70s more so than any of the other ’60s bands. This song in particular nailed everything that was right about the Rolling Stones. Jagger’s cooing, Wyman’s slinky bass lines, Watts’ rock solid beat and great guitar interplay with Richards and Ron Wood. Quite tasty indeed…
