Steve Winwood had been around for quite some time prior to this song and its parent album Back In the High Life came out in 1986. From The Spencer Davis group as a teenager to Blind Faith and finally Traffic before going solo in the mid ’70s. This song exploded when released and in my opinion, redefined the production level of popular music at that time. Chaka Khan’s vocals certainly add a wonderful touch as well. This track reminds me so much of when I moved to the East Coast (Virginia) for the fist time and definitely puts a smile on my face and is one of those tunes that when it comes on the radio (in those rare instances I listen to the radio, of course) I will crank it to the speaker’s limits. Another feel good tune that I’ll never grow tired of.
