Take Me Home by Phil Collins.

This is probably my favorite song that Phil Collins ever did. I also really love the video which has him singing in different places around the world including London, New York, Tokyo, Sydney, Moscow, Los Angeles, Paris, Chicago, San Francisco, Memphis, and St. Louis. I’ve always wondered how this video was done – there’s a lot of traveling in order for him to be seen at all these places. Maybe some of them were a set or green screens but others look pretty authentic. Anyone know? I’m curious.

Take Me Home was released as a single in March of 1986 from the album No Jacket Required. It placed #7 on Billboard’s Hot 100, though he had two previous singles that had placed higher. Today it has become one of his most well-known songs as well as most beloved.

The track also has some notable backing vocals from Peter Gabriel, Sting, and Helen Terry.
