Corey Haim passed away on Wednesday, March 10th 2010. Some people go by the date as the 1 year anniversary, but I think it’s more fitting to use the actual day (Wednesday)…which is today.
This song has reminded me of Corey since the day I found out about his death. I think it just entered my head when I was mourning and since then, it’s officially his song. It reminded me of his struggle to find love and to find his big break again. But especially love, because he was a lot like me…he loved to love, loved the idea of love, and just wanted to be with someone.
Corey, I can’t believe it’s been one year since you left us. I miss you and still think about you everyday. Rest in Peace.
